By car:

“Bryuksel” and “Tsarigratsko shose” boulevards connect the airport with the city centre in the west direction. Trakia highway connects the airport with the city centre in the east direction. “Botevgradsko shose” boulevard connects the airport with Hemus highway.

Parking lots in Sofia Airport:

By public transportation:

There are two bus lines that connect the airport with the city center. Line 84 serves the route from Terminal 1 to Sofia University and backwards. Line 284 serves the route from Terminal 2 to Sofia University and backwards. Sofia University bus stop provides convenient transportation links with the underground lines, as well as with other bus and trolleybus lines.

By taxi:

There are taxi stands located near the west exits of the “Arrivals” zone at Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 at Sofia Airport. You can also order a taxi for free by going to one of the taxi companies’ counters, located at the “Arrivals” zone of both terminals at Sofia Airport.

Shuttle bus:

There is a free shuttle bus that runs between the two terminals at Sofia Airport. It runs every 30 minutes by schedule from 07:00 to 18:00. It could also be ordered out of schedule, from 18:00 to 23:00, by going to the “Information” counters, located in the public zones of both terminals at Sofia Airport.

There are two cafés located on level 0, and five cafés on level 1, at Terminal 2 of Sofia Airport. They offer a range of cold and hot drinks, beer, alcoholic drinks, wine, breakfast, desserts, and sandwiches. At World News Café on level 0 you can also read your favorite newspaper and watch the news. At Jimmy’s on level 1 you can also enjoy some ice-cream.

There are several shops in the “Arrivals” zone at Terminal 1 of Sofia Airport. There you can find two shops that offer newspapers, magazines, books, cigarettes, and mineral water. There is also a shop offering traditional Bulgarian souvenirs, and a shop offering a wide variety of children’s toys. There are several shops at Terminal 2 as well. On level 0 you can find a shop that offers newspapers, magazines, cigarettes, packaged foods, and mineral water. On level 1 you can find a shop that offers traditional Bulgarian souvenirs, and a shop that offers tobacco, cigars, pipes and accessories.
